I loved you like I never loved another…
You made me want to be better…
I felt you deserved the best… so that’s exactly what I gave you…my best!
Your eyes were like a child’s… in my eyes you could do no wrong…
I put no cap on my love for you, it was unlimited!… My love was unconditional in the purest form!

But you set me free…
Initially I was afraid… and sometimes I still am…
I was afraid to leave you behind…
And now that i’m beginning to fly, it’s hard because I know what I’m leaving behind… or at least what I want to be leaving behind…

So now that I am flying, i’m looking around at what’s in front of me… I still think of what I may be missing…still think of what’s behind me…
All I can do is hope that the next place I land is a better place than the one that I left…
I pray you’re in a good place… or headed to a better place…

You may have a million things running thru your heart and mind… but one thing that you can let rest assured is the truth!… That I gave my all, tried my best and loved you like no other!
