On February 8, 1968 3 South Carolina State University students were killed during a segregation protest in Orangeburg, S.C.

*Sometimes I try to picture living in those days, and I think about myself as a young adult, and I try to put myself in their shoes and imagine how they felt when they were going to particpate in these movements and demonstrations and I wonder if it ever crossed their minds that it was possible they could lose their lives for standing up for something they believed in and just simply exercising their rights!…. R.I.P. to all of the courageous believers… who just wanted equality and wanted to see a change!
