My Sistahs . . .

Why have we gone from light versus dark to kinky versus curly versus straight?…

Why do we hate love and love hate?…

Why must we search for disconnection and not unity?

Does anyone even realize, does anyone even see?

The lies and deception planted to disunion you and me?

Show me where the bible teaches us that we all have to look alike or appear the same way…

Once we fought to stay together, but what are we fighting for today?…

Who’s standard has set this acception?… It’s all deception.

We spend so much time focusing on our appearance that we lose sight of the soul… Missing the goal.

Who said all brown tones of skin have roots of an African?

Who said that having straight hair meant “trying” to be something you’re not?… You must’ve forgot…

Some of our ancestors were raped, causing some of our roots to be naturally straight…

Some of our loved ones loved ones from another nation and different dissent… Does that make us wrong because we’re different?…

Half of the ones screaming “All natural” and “Love your roots!” Don’t even know their’s… While they’re steadily spending money on horse hairs…

It doesn’t make sense…

If relaxing your roots makes you a fake, then why is it your face, that you make, up?…

Why is it that your nails are acrylic?… And do you truly believe that the color in your dye, doesn’t fry?…

Why?…

Ladies, ladies, ladies, let go of the grudge… Examine before you judge…

Embrace the differences around you.

Together we stand and divided we fall.

Stop giving into the lies that defy our very meaning and existence.

The enemy’s goal is to divide and conquer with persistence.

God does not focus on the outer, he examines the heart.

Those that live by this will be set apart.

Love your sister, love your neighbor, and love a stranger.

Love is the greatest of all, it drives out all danger.

Eliminate separation and get rid of jealousy and strife.

If we could all love one another for our unique independence and differences we would all live a rich and purposeful life.

Be blessed my sistahs.
