It is indeed in times of pressure that you gain your poise,
In times of desperation you discover your determination,
In times of hardships you discover your help,
In times of loss you see gain,
In times of weakness you learn your strength,
In pain there is purpose,
In fire there is purification,
In isolation there is growth,
In the silence there is music,
In times of feeling lost there is actually direction,
In blindness there is guidance,
In persecution there is peace,
In tearing down there is building,
We have the choice to either allow life to make us bitter or better.
God’s ways are the total opposite of our own.
When we proclaim to be His children and times of adversity arise we have to understand who and whose we are.
Nothing is by chance or coincidence, but in the perfecting of our spirits to be made more like Christ.
Because our flesh is selfish and born to die, God is constantly peeling away at the layers that separate us from Him.
This is the beautification process.
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
