Been hurt or betrayed? Let’s pray!

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. He died for our brokenness, so that we could be whole. Thank you for allowing pressure to strengthen us but not break us. Thank you for taking the ashes from the fire and turning them into the perfect winged eyeliner, the most beautiful blush, most flawless foundation, and the smoothest mascara. A tailored suit, a new pair of Jordans, a freshly trimmed mustache or haircut. God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human, so He does not change his mind. Numbers 23:19

The enemy knows that our energy is our power, so thank You to the Prince of Peace, for protecting our peace. For giving us peace that surpasses our understanding. Giving us the wisdom to be particular about whom we allow in our space. Your word tells us to guard our hearts. Thank You for being the gatekeeper to our spirits—guiding, protecting and loving us. Thank you for being faithfull to us despite us being undeserving. Thank You for loving us before we even knew ourselves. For teaching us the meaning of true love, by loving us in spite of our wrongs. Thank You for not only giving us Your son, but for giving us one another. You reveal Your goodness to us each and every day through those that serve, smile, give, lend, love, protect, care for, and unite.

Thank You for being quick to hear and slow to speak, slow to anger and gentle in response. Thank You for strengthening us, helping us and upholding us with Your righteous right hand. We can do all things through You who strengthens us. You are with us—wherever we may go and no matter what life brings. Under Your wings, we find refuge. We trust in You with all of our hearts, and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways we acknowledge You and You direct our paths. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are strong—We are brave—We are fearless—We are never alone. Mightier than the waves of the sea is Your love for us. We are complete in You. You will never leave nor forsake us.

Whenever you feel unloved, unimportant, or insecure, remember to whom you belong… You are loved more than you will ever know by someone who died to know you. Ephesians 2:19; Romans 5:6

In Jesus’ name, we are thankful and pray.

Amen!
